Porting of Android BSP for PXA270
Hardware Offering - Intel PXA270Aftek have successfully ported Android on PXA270 platform. We have developed a hardware platform based on PXA270 processor and then customized Android BSP for it. Extensive experience of Linux BSP has enabled us to develop a variety of expert solutions based on Android BSP as well. The hardware supports various interfaces like Ethernet, touchpad, audio, video and USB host, facilitating a wide range of applications that can be run of PXA270.
Android BSP for PXA270
Google Android is an open source and configurable mobile handset platform based on Linux 2.6. Android offers a full stack including an operating system, middleware, and key mobile applications. Android also includes Dalvik virtual machine for Java application. PXA270 processor is widely used for mobile and portable applications. Aftek's distinct offerings include::

AFTEK Depot Manager Framework
Aftek's depot manager Framework is designed for road transport organizations. It facilitates centralized data management, optimum fleet scheduling, fleet maintenance, crew management, cashless operations with smart cards, and MIS.

Aftek at Droidcon 2010, Germany
Aftek would be presenting the Remote Application Publishing (RAP) framework that would enable developers to maintain and manage the applications on the server. RAP Framework is integrated with Aftek's RTMP and AMF library. The device side code becomes minimal with no need to redistribute the application for upgrades. This would drastically reduce the development, testing and maintenance cost.
A case study of Set Top Box framework solution, which is developed using RAP framework would also be presented.
